Piano Syllabus
The British Columbia Conservatory of Music Piano Examination Program recognizes student achievement through a well-planned course of study, from beginner to advanced levels.
Involvement in music is considered a fundamental component of human culture and behaviour. With the increased interest in piano as a means of development and expansion of the creative process, essential study skills, concentration and self-discipline, which virtually guarantees future success in any field, the BCCM Piano Examination Program provides a stimulating, comprehensive goal for all students. The curriculum has been developed by knowledgeable professionals in the field of piano study. Both repertoire and technical requirements have been selected to represent a logical progression of skill development suitable for each level.
